Hair Cut for a Curly Girl near San Marcos, Escondido, Carlsbad, Encinitas???

My daughter is 6, she has only had one hair cut at 4, we donated to Locks of Love, she is ready to do it again. Any suggestions as to where to go? She had her b'day at Adventure Cuts, but everyone tells me they are terrible for hair cuts. Looking to do this tomorrow, Sunday..... Part of my problem is everyone I know has straight hair, she has super curly frizzy hair.

What can I do next?

Wow, had no clue Chrystine! Will look into it for sure. She decided to hold off on the cut until after Halloween.

I don't know if you know this-but, Locks of Love doesn't help kids. You might consider Wigs 4 Kids next time. Or usually there is a local group that helps out cancer kids, or kids w/ alopecia.

It's too late for you to use this sunday, but there is a website, naturallycurly.com which has a salon finder. I have the same kind of hair as your daughter and found a great stylist up in the Venice Beach area. Too far for you, I'm sure, but there are great recommendations on that site. Good luck.

We take our boys to Kids Kuts in Escondido in the Target shopping center near what used to be Mervyns but is now a Ross.
They have straight hair though but are very picky and have a couple calics.
I've heard good things about them before and our experience with the boys has been positive.
I don't have direct experience with girls yet. My daughter is 2 and she's not had a haircut yet at all. She's got really wavy hair.
