I am seeking suggestions on the best Gymnastics Classes that are loving and nurturing to kids. My daughter has encountered teachers that are disrespectful and uncaring. She loves Gymnastics, but does not want to be taught by someone who may not even like kids. I teach my children to respectfully set boundaries and the teacher is trying to discourage that and calls her names. Does anyone know of any place that has Christian values and respects and nurtures kids?
I guess you could find a church with a program if you are that specific with what you want. I don't know of churches with programs though.
I do know that WOGA in Plano and Frisco is a good gymnastics school. I never asked them about their beliefs when my daughter was training for cheer there. She had a good expereince.
Both my daughters went to WOGA (first in Plano then in Frisco). They are absolutely wonderful with kids. Highly recommend them.
She may soon out grow it but we have had great success at The Little Gym. They are very child focused and never push a child to do something they don't want to do. Little Gym may be a good place for her until she is ready for a more traditional Gymnastics class.
My daughter is 5 and just started gymnastics this year at WOGA in Plano - she absolutely loves it and loves her teacher too! During the summer she took a summer camp there and had a different teacher and loved her as well. Also during the summer we would go to the drop in play times at the WOGA in North Dallas and I was in there with her - I found the teachers to be awesome with the kids - they seemed to genuinely love to do what they were doing! We love Farmers Branch rec center and the gymnastics program. Stacy is great with the kids and they have a wonderful facility. Just google Farmers Branch rec center.
My daughter went to University Of Gymnastics. She really enjoyed it and I thought the teachers were caring.
