Hi there,

I have never shopped much at Gymboree until now with my daughter, and I have earned $150 Gym Bucks. The cashier really did not explain the system at all (teenager, much too annoyed to give many details). Anyone ever used this rewards program with Gymboree, and if so what do I do and how and when do I redeem them? I'm trying their website now for some answers, but wanted your opinions too!
Thanks!

So What Happened?

Well isn't this a fun concept! My mom said she would buy my kids and my sister's kids all new bathing suits and cover-ups for Easter, so guess where we headed! Got all four kids new suits/rash guards and then a few other things for my daughter's birthday. She only went over by $16. $150 for $300+ clothes is awesome. Thanks y'all!

It basically gives you 50% off your next purchase. Ex: If you spend 100.00 then you pay 50.00. If you spend 300.00 then you pay 150.00. If you go over 300.00 because you only have 150.00 the additional items would be whatever the price is. BTW they stopped letting you use the 20% coupon with the Gymbucks.:-)

There is a certain date that you have to use it, you will have to keep the receipt with the coupon or it's no good. Just spend another $300 and you get $150 off, so you will just be spending $150 in reality, it's a great system. We used to shop at Gymboree ALL the time for our two kids, but the last few seasons I have been really bummed by their collections. Have fun shopping!

During the dates listed on the gymbucks (should be soon to redeem them if you just got them, you go to the store. I *think* if you have $150 in gymbucks, you have to spend at least $300 and you will get $150 off. Check out their website for more info.

And if you can't spend that much, I'd be willing to take one off your hands, ;). This is one of the first times I didn't get one but the new line is super cute! Friend them on FB and you can see a portion of the new line.

I love gymbucks. Gearing up to use mine too. So, it's like you buy 50 dollars worth of clothes and you pay 25. So it's like 25 off 50. Look how much gymbucks you have, that's how much you have to spend (half), during certain periods.

Gymbucks are awesome!!! I have bought so many clothes there for my daughter by using their Gymbucks and coupons. Dec/Jan issue of Parenting early years also has a 20% off coupon that expires the end of the month. Parents magazine has them sometimes too.

With $150 Gymbucks, you'd have to buy at least $300 worth of stuff, and then they'll take all of the $150 off. You can use it on regular, sale, and clearance items, instore or online. The redemption period starts January 13; it will start at midnight online. Sometimes they will start it a day or two early online, so if you are shopping online check OFTEN in order to get the best deals. Things go FAST during redemption time. If you plan on shopping in the stores, go in a few days early and pick out what you want and ask them to hold it for you, and make sure you ask them how long they will hold it. Some stores won't do this, and even the ones that do won't hold it for very long. If you are shopping online, go ahead and pick out what you want and put it in your shopping cart- that way, you won't waste time shopping when the time comes. Things really do go fast, items will disappear right out from under you if you don't hustle. BTW, a new line is coming out on Tuesday. Yes, I'm an insane addict.
