Gymanstics - Little Gym -

I am considering putting my son (almost 3) into some type of gymnastics/activity type class similar to Little Gym. I would love to hear feedback from others who have done it.
I am in Allen so anyone who can recommend a good class or gym in the area, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks!

What can I do next?

I would say that The Little Gym is the best of the childrens' gymnastics franchises. We tried introdutory classes at several other franchises and I was amazed at the differences between the programs. If you are looking for more of a playful, romper-room type program, I would reccommend My Gym. If you want a more challenging instructional class, The Little Gym is your best bet. Mr. Forest at the Allen location is a wonderful instructor!

Little Gym of Allen moved to McKinney. It's just norht of 121 off of Lake Forest. (only 6 miles from the old location) We had our first at Allen, now the second in McKinney. Forrest is still teaching too.

I have tried both Little Gym (Allen) and My Gym (Plano) for my now 3 year old son. I personally prefer My Gym in Plano. The main reason I chose My Gym was because they have more than just the gymnastics equipment in the gym allowing the kids to have a mix of gymnastics and free play in the class. With this mix, it keeps my son more interested in the activities. If your son has no problem sitting and waiting, then Little GYm would probably work fine for him. I have several friends who take their children there (but mostly girls) and they do fine.

My 3 yr old daughter goes to World Olympic Gymnastics Academy twice a week and loves it. They are located on the corner or Custer and W. Parker. There are both boys and girls in the class. They do teach gymnastics it is not play hour, yet they do have fun. You can get more info on their site www.woga.net. You can go to try out a class for free. FYI--the best coach is Coach Cameron--he is great with the little ones. Hope this helps--Good Luck!
