Where do you live? There's a group called MOMS Club. Lots of activities all the time, playgroups, couples nights out, moms night out, etc. I think almost every town has a chapter.

I've been a member of Mothers and More- Portland Metro Chapter for a few years now, and it has come to mean so much to me. Our members are both employed and working in the home/stay at home, we come from all walks of life, we are resourceful, very real, fun and active. We plan all sorts of outings for just moms, families, playgroups, educational meetings, relaxation dates, holiday parties, you name it. Our members are scattered all over Portland. Please contact me if you would like to hear more, or check out the group at some activities, many are upcoming!

Check into Music Together classes - my children have really enjoyed them and have come to love music

Most libraries will have a "book babies" program (at no cost)

Also, Gymboree classes are a social way to meet other mothers
