Great Stroller

So we had this great stroller that was passed down to us and after using it for a year it's seen it's better days. It was awesome though. It had a screen in front to protect our baby from bugs and it had a flap that flipped up over the front to prevent our son from falling through when he was too small. I also liked that it had a nice big basket for storing things. It was also easy to stear and very comfortable to walk with. We have a separate jogging stroller that we bought, but it isn't as nice for taking it to the stores and stuff.

I bought another one from babies r us because it was cheap. Well now I regret it because it just isn't nearly as nice. Do any of you have suggestions on a great stroller that will last for my son who is now 1 and for a potential baby in the future? I'm willing to pay extra for it if it's a good one that will last a long time.

What can I do next?

Peg Perego pliko p3!!! I love it with a fiery passion!! It sound very similar too. It has a bug/rain cover which I need to get one. It has a spot on the back of the stroller where a toddler can stand while a baby can ride on.
It steers so well, folds up super small (not giant and bulky), decent basket, a hood that can fold almost all the way down. I suggest it to everyone.

LOVE pliko P3!!!!!!!love it. It has everything that you might need/want. They last FOREVER. People sell them on Craigslist for under $100 and say used for 3 kids and they still look like new.

I love my Combi! I have a double, but I think they make a single. My S-I-L loves her McClaren. I'm not sure what either one costs. I got mine on a huge introductory sale, and my S-I-L bought hers from the factory in Europe. She saved a ton! I agree that you do get what you pay for when it comes to strollers, for the most part, but I did get a single stroller for about $30 at Target that I like. I don't remember the brand, and I don't have it here right now. It's a basic model, but worked with our Graco baby carriers just fine, and is smaller than the usual travel strollers. It's been through several kids, and I still like it, but it doesn't have the bells and whistles. If you get one without a feature you like, Babies 'R Us has a lot of those extras -- cup holders, bug, wind, and rain covers, stroller blankets for added warmth, etc. I've gotten a few things there that I've liked. I hope you find the right fit!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Quinny! Smoothest ride, comes with all of the bells and whistles (plus more, if you want it) and folds down beautifully when you need to collapse it. I've been through 3 strollers now, and have learned that you definitely get what you pay for, in terms of having it last.

They may a great "umbrella style" stroller as well called the "Zapp". It's the smallest folding stroller like that on the market today and I can't say enough about it. Check it out!

If you are looking for an umbrella stroller I love our Zooper Twist. I think you can only get it online but it's awesome. Not a huge basket but enough for a small diaper bag. HUGE sunshade, reclines easily, very smooth, cushy seat. In all it's awesome.
