Grass Stains - Royal Oak,MI
Has anyone ever found anything better to remove grass stains than Zout?
So What Happened?™
Thank you for all of your replies. I love Zout, but they don't sell it in the trigger spray at any of my stores. I don't like the squeeze bottle. I have to get my hands yucky to apply it and rub it in. I will try the Spray and Wash stick next. I will go through all of your methods until I know how to remove anything! I love being victorius over all stains. Simple pleasures. Thanks for helping!

I use a mixture of equal parts water, ammonia and Dawn dish soap for all of my stains. It's what my Grandma used and it's a rare stain that it doesn't work on.
I love your description of A Little About Me! It made me smile and giggle and I sent out a hug in my mind to my boys who are at school right now. Cherish them for sure. My daughter died of cancer almost six years ago and we never can know what will come our way.

D.,
I have found that Soaking the clothes in Oxi clean or using Shout Advance Gel usually works on my 6 year old sons grass stains..

I think OxyClean is the best stainfighter for EVERYTHING. For tough stains I make it into a paste (add a little h2o and stir it) then apply it to stain with toothbrush and scrub. Let it sit overnight and wash item the next day. I swear by it!

OxyClean gets out everything for me. It even gets out old all ready washed and dried stains. I make a paste with water, rub it in really well and let it sit for a few hours to a day or two depending on the stain. Sometimes I have to do the paste more then once but I can't say I've had a stain it didn't get out.

D., the Meijer store on Dix-Toledo in Lincoln Park has spray bottles of Zout. Do you have a Meijer near you?

I have always used the 'spray and wash stain stick' It gets out all grass stains and blood stains. And you don't have to wash it right away I have let stuff sit for days with the stain stick on the stain and it comes out everytime. I also take it on vacation with us.

My SIL swears by Fast Orange. It's sold as mainly a hand wash, but she has 3 boys and a husband that get into everything dirty, even grease! Good luck. Looks like you have a couple things to try. I'm interested in which one actually works the best. Happy washing
