Good Socks! - Los Angeles,CA

Sooo.....

I'm in search of some really good socks. My Fruit of the Loom and Hanes you find everywhere are no good. I'm looking for plain white socks, that are soft and thick and warm, but can also be worn with tennis shoes.

I don't want specialty socks like camping or hiking or boot or fuzzy slippery etc.

Just looking for your recommendation on the best everyday white socks - high quality so I'm not wearing right through them. I've looked at Gold Toe, but some are rated as "thin." If you like Gold Toe, is there a specific type you prefer

TIA!

Go to a sporting goods store (Big 5, Sports Authority, etc.) we get the best white socks there and they are sold in bulk. The brands are usually shoe brands, like Nike, Fila, Reebok, etc.

Try Thorlos.
Cotton socks aren't very warm. For warmth you want wool.

My husband swears by New Balance and the seem pretty think and warm. I bought Adidas once and I thought they were too thick, but I love Hanes, so maybe Adidas will work for you if you want something thicker.
