Good Skincare for Mom

Everyone has been great about responding to my questions about my kids so I thought I would try one for me, what kind of skin care do all you moms use? I am always trying to find a good skin care line that is not too costly and thought what better people to ask than other moms so how bout it, what do you use?

What can I do next?

I like Clinique and/or Mary Kay :)

I will be the first to say, I use Kroger brand skin cream, it is just like Noxema, but cheaper, then if my face is dry I use Avon Anew , it is like a lotion. also, have you ever been to Costco? they have their own line of skin care products that are excellent- especially the wrinkle serum- sounds fancy but we moms deserve it. My biggest advice- just read labels, and keep track of anything that may irritae your skin so you don't use it again. hope this helps! 3 months until I turn 30, I am trying different things right now, (just a phase I guess)! N. K,
I use as well as sell Mary Kay Cosmetics.

I am 43 years old, I have used MK for 6 years. I got off of Proactice using the TimeWise.
It is FAST, three minutes to Cleanse,Exfoliate,Freshen ALL in one Product--TimeWise Cleanser. The second step is to Moisturize--TimeWise Age Fighting Moisturizer and Last to Protect--Apply your TimeWise Medium or Full Coverage Foundation.

This is the Basic Set and sells for $54. Now let me tell you how long each product lasts and you will see what a VALUE our Products are and Why we have been THE NUMBER ONE BRAND OF SKINCARE AND COLOR COSMETICS SOLD in the last THIRTEEN (13) YEARS!!

Cleanser, lasts 3-4 months. Moisturizer, lasts about6-9 months and Foundation lasts about 3-4 months so you can see for your value of 54. divided by 90 days(three (3) months) the cost is about 60 CENTS a DAY! Your Worth that and more!

We have a TRY BEFORE you BUY. That is why we incourage you to sit down with a Consultant or Come to an Event or Meeting and try the products. It is fun, at Meetings you will get something for free just for showing up and if you have a Facial or a Class/Party you can EARN FREE PRODUCTS!

If you would like to try them let me know or I can help you find someone close to you that you can meet with and try the products.

In MARY KAY we want you as our CUSTOMER for LIFE. We are NOT about the SALE. Because if your not happy you will shop with someone else or some other product. We are STILL personable and there to help you.
AS with any BUSINESS there is always going to be someone who does not meet the IMAGE we want out there. If you have had a bad Consultant, try again. We do Hand Pick who we want to work with but each Consultant is an INDEPENDENT BUSINESS OWNER they can run their business as they want to. BUT for the majority Mary Kay Consultants are Helpful, Friendly, Caring and want to be your FRIEND.

I hope this has helped you and if I can help you in anyway let me know.

Try the California Concept, it's great! Specially the eye cream, It's awesome. all toners, face cleaners, eye cream, lotions are working just so well on my skin. You can't find this in the store, but you can order from one of their distributor. You can find more info. from their website. http://www.californiaconcept.com.
I usually order from http://www.sensationalskin.net/, cause they offer free shipping for any order over $49.
Beside the skin care, if you want to buy some make up, order from http://www.eyeslipsface.com/defaultflash.asp
They sell make up for $1, but the shipping would take a little longer than normal. I just received my order which I ordered a month ago, but I think it's worth it! Cause everything that I received are so nice and they don't look like a cheap "dollar" make up! I tried the lip gloss, it looks and feels no different than other expensive brand make up out there.

I'm a no-fuss type of person. Here is what I've used on my face for years and everyone says I have wonderful skin. I do not get break-outs anymore and I never have to wear base makeup. I use a product called Totally Juicy. It is an apricot pore scrub. I used to buy it at Marc's but then had trouble finding it so now I order it from the web. About $5.00 a tube which lasts forever! It is made by Freeman Beauty Labs, a division of pH Beauty. It is very gentle on you skin but cleans well since it is a scrub. I then follow that up with Aveda Hydrating Masque. Even though it is marketed as a mask, I put a very small amount on (about the size of a pea) and leave it on. This has greatly helped control the "T" area. It is a little more expensive, maybe $15 a tube but again last forever. In fact I buy it so infrequently (we're talking years) that I don't remember exactly what it costs. Hope this helps!

Hi N.,

I have used Avon for the past 5 years but ever since I had my first baby, it seems like my skin has changed. Some places on my face are very oily and other places are very dry. I started using DDF and everyone tells me I have great skin now. http://www.ddfskincare.com.

Hope this helps.
