Good Preschool Offering VPK Program

They only offer 3 hr of vpk and then wraparound they charge u . If u look up vpk in sarasota it will give ya info on vpk sarasota colition is good because they have to be restiered first. My daughter will be going in the fall too. Still looking. Good luck .

Sprouts (at Harvest United Methodist Church) is starting VPK for the 2009 school year. My son attended this year (and I wish they had VPK)...but it was such a WONDERFUL preschool, I was happy to pay the tuition. It's in LWR, so it may be a little drive for you...but it's right off the University exit. I can't say enough positives about this school...and now to have it for free? There may be a waiting list. I am not sure were in Sarasota you live but I live in LWR and my daugher will be in the VPK program 09-10 school year @ Wakeland Elementary School of International Studies which is actually in Bradenton by the Pirates baseball training field!It is an IB school and their VPK program is free- think the hours are from 8:30-12:30 and for an extra $12/day you can extend it thru regular school hours. I have been doing a lot of research on schools (not daycares) and this is the one that I have heard the best reviews about. Rainbow Station on Wilkinson in Sarasota. My children have attended for over 2 years and we love it. Friendly, caring staff. Free summer VPK!

My children attend Rainbow Station on Wilkinson and they have a FREE VPK summer program! We love it there-the staff is great and the prices are reasonable.

My son is attending St. Paul ECLC on Bahia Vista. He is in the 3-4 year old class now and is registered for PreK for next year. The VPK program is from 9-1 there and is free. There is aftercare available from 1-5:30 and 'breakfast club' from 8-9. Not sure about exact costs.
It's a wonderful and very small environment. My son loves it, learns, thrives, etc. Our family is extremely pleased.
