Good Pediatricians at Either Alexian Brothers or Luthern General Hospitals

I use Doctor Johnson he is out of Alexian Brothers & St. Alexis but his office is near St. Alexis. There is three people at my work that use him too. He is great. Phone ####-###-####.

Someone I know went to Dr. Santo and hated it and switched to Dr. Johnson.

I was in the same position and found Children and Teens on Wise Road in Schaumburg. They are actually on staff at both St. Alexius and Lutheran General which I liked (if St Alexius works for you). There are several docs in the office and they round at LGH so will come see the baby there. Dr. Sommerfeld and Dr Voight both did their residencies at LGH.

My daughter has been going to Dr. Marc Nudelman with The Medical Care Group in Alexian Brothers since she was born. My OB/GYN recommended him since that is who takes care of her children. He is patient and kind. Taylor loves him and actually requests to go see him. Their number is ###-###-####.

Hi my name is L.
I delivered at lutheran and used a group dr Dobkin they are located on Arlington heights rd just down from Palatine may be too far but they go too Lutheran Northwest community and Childrens only take ppo insurance I think. They are fabulous and have a nurse care line you can call and talk to a nurse anytime with questions ph ####-###-#### they like you to go interview prior to delivery. You can see anyone in that group some of the ladies are so nice with young babies. My email is ____@____.com if you have questions. They will see the baby everyday you are in the hospital.

whatever you do,DONOT go to DR.Debra Santo,or Dr. Sandra Pae!! Horrible manner with nervous mothers! I have never had ANYONE say " I don't know" more than Dr. Pae in my life! Believe me,save youself the headaches!!

John has Dr. Susan Crawford when she was with Children memorial. She moved to Lutheran and I miss her so much! She was the best Ped ever! She works with a group, is very good and talking to parents and will take time to answer any questions. She is young and new but very smart!
If you go to her tell her Johnny Murphy says "whats up!" :-)

I absolutley love Dr. Susan Unfer at Lutheran General. She takes her time, never makes you feel rushed, listens, and is great with kids. She's very popular so book way in advance. Good luck to you!

I love my pediatrician group at Alexian. They are Medical Care Group. I have met all the Dr.'s at one point or another (I have 3 kids) ###-###-####. They have been so great to my boys, and to me.

Unlike Kelly, I LOVE Dr Santo and Dr. Pae. Both of my kids have been going there since my daugther was a toddler and before my son was born. I will never change offices. The staff is great (VERY little turnover), they always remember my kids names. They return calls in a timely manner and the nurses are wonderful. We had some issues with my son's blood work and Dr. Santo would always be the one to call us at home to talk with us about the results, not the nurses. Dr. Santo has called us about my son numerous times after business hours. She took the time to explain everything and didn't rush us off the phone until she was sure that we understood everything. She has always been patient with us, and we've asked many, many questions, and I've never felt rushed by her.

I would HIGHLY recommend this office. If you're looking for Peds, Call the office and set up a new baby consultation. They will make the time for you.

I did have another Ped out of St. Alexius in Hoffman Estates. I left that office as soon as I found out I was pregnant for the second time. Now She was terrible.
By the way, don't be nervous....it'll all be fine.

I work for the Alexian network and also use a doctor from the network. I am currently using Pediatric Care Associates across from Macaroni Grill on Higgins. We started out at Dr. Bedingfield's and while they seemed okay, he was very old fashioned (and also gave my son 4x's the amount of Zantac he needed). Pediatric Care Associates have been pretty good - they have a website (type it into google....doctors are Boton, Fitzpatrick, McCoy, and Reinstein).
