I third Plano Pediatrics. We see Dr. McDonald, but have had to see Dr. Katz on occasion. They are all wonderful there!! Good luck!

They have also been written up in several magazines and highly recommend.

Good grief - you are probably going to get 1,000 responses so here's #476 - we like Dr. Ryan McElroy, with Plano Pediatric Associates.

Dr. Alan Yedwab...in Richardson.

Try Pediatic Association of Dallas (or PAD). They're an association of pediatricians with a clinic in Dallas and one in Plano off the Dallas North Tollway and Windhaven. If you go to padnewsletter dot com, it should take you there. We see Dr Dunlap, who has a great bedside manner. Not sure if you're looking for a male or female doctor. Dr Dunlap is male (both our kids are boys).

Good luck!

We have used Dr. Scott Katz at Plano Pediatrics for nine years and love him.

We use Dr. Joseph Peterman
Preston Centre Pediatrics

Dr. Joe Peterman and Dr. Jen Wheeler are the best! We have brought our son to them since he was born (almost 8 years ago). They have always been caring, professional, and very thorough. They take the time to explain everything and additionally make your child understands. They have been there, night or day, when we have needed them. They have both Saturday office hours and additionally have a phone number you can call afterhours if you need them. We wouldn't take our son anywhere else. I have been seeing him for almost 2 years. My son is 2 1/2.
My dad works with him and so he has known him for many years and highly recommends him. They have three doc in the office they are all good. The office is really clean and the nurses are wonderful!!

i take my daughter to dr finkelman..he's part of pediatric associates of dallas. they also have a plano office on communications pkwy. i recommend finkelman, but any of the other drs are good too. i have a friend who goes to brown and another who goes to dreiling. ive seen both of them before and liked each. i also just took my daughter to see mclord yesterday shes new and not on the website yet but still very good.

im not the hugest fan of the front office people but the drs are top notch. finkelman caught some good things about my daughter when she was very young (hip dysplasia, torticolis) that were easily corrected quickly because she was so small.

good luck!

We live in Allen but we drive to Richardson for our children's pediatrician. I would highly recommend Dr. John Porter. He is very good with kids and very professional. His number is ###-###-####.

Hi! We just recently moved to the area as well and I have a 6 year old and a 9 month old. We are using Dr. Todd Burton at All About Children Pediatrics in McKinney. I am very pleased. Had tried First Choice Pediatrics first and did not like it there at all. Hope I could be of help to you! Good luck!
