Hi Mamas!
My twin boys turn 1 on April 1. I want to have a party at a location in the Tri Valley area so I don't have to worry about clean up. Any suggestions? I think Super Frank's is out because my weekend is already booked.

Thanks!

Gymboree Play and Music does great birthday parties and they have a First Birthday Party theme. I'm not sure exactly what area is the Tri-Valley area but there are locations in Pleasanton, San Ramon and Fremont (others as well but that's what I think of as Tri-Valley). Their website is www.gymboreeclasses.com.

We just went to a birthday party at Bounce U in Pleasanton and my kids had a lot of fun. Here is their link: http://bounceu.com/

Hi!
We had our 1 year old's bday at My Gym in San Ramon in January. They did a great job at catering the few short activities/songs to all ages. They set up plates, cut the cake, and cleaned up! We were impressed and our guests even commented on how easy it was. Their prices are a bit lower than other indoor party places as well. There is Just Your Party in San Ramon which has a toddler blow up yard and Studio Grow in Concord. Good luck!

Congrats on the first year!! I had a party at our local green space which was fun (April bday as well and weather was very nice). I know you want to have the party at a location but remember they will never remember and/or get that it is their special day. Through pictures yes so I understand you want to make it special. Gymboree is an option or a local park and rent a clown (who isn't scary) to do balloons and tricks. Went to a 2 year old party w/ one and it was so fun for the kids!! At our bday party in the park I had a water table/sand table, bubble machine, bouncy house, playdough set up on a kid table and tons of snacks. Hope this helps!

Hi S.-congratulations 1 year old is a milestone. Is the party for other older kids to enjoy? I'm asking because at 1 year old the twins will not be able to do much at many of the party venues. When our twins turned 1, we did a party at My Gym in San Ramon, it was more for the benefit of the older cousins. We left it as unstructured play time, so that my kids were able to toddle around, play with the balls and ball pits etc. The older kids were able to play around the structures and the other things.

Super Franks is for th 4+ age. There aren't areas where your twins can toddle around. Good luck and congratulations!
