Is a mortgage broker and a mortgage loan officer the same thing? If so, I have complete trust in the loan officer who did our home loan for us, and I am very circumspect when it comes to financial matters! We used Robert Eaves at Bank of America in Sterling Heights. His card says he is the senior loan officer and vice president. If that is too far for you, you might call him anyway, because at times he was willing to meet us at other branches that were closer to us. His number is ###-###-####. He had many opportunities to demonstrate his integrity to us throughout the process of our loan, and I was very happy with him. He was recommended to us by our realtor (we asked him to recommend someone because we also were impressed him).

Look up Thomas Styf of Remax Complete in Pleasant Ridge. He lists mostly in the Royal Oak and Ferndale areas and is an excellent broker. Fees are very reasonable and he works very hard for his clients. Good luck!

Hi Shelia,

We sold our bungalo in RO about a year ago and used Bob Coburn as our realtor; he has a great mortgage broker named Ted who was able to get us a great rate through US Bank. Bob's phone number is ###-###-####. I can't get a hold of my husband (he has Ted's phone number) but its definitely worth a call!

Hi Shelia, my name is D.. My husband is a mortgage broker and has been doing mortgages for 15 years now. He is a very honest guy ( reason I married him) :) I am sure he would be able to help you, and if not, could recommend someone that could. His name is Zack, and if you are interested his email address is ____@____.com
Hope that helps you out...

I used to be a mortgage broker for many many years. Now I am a contract closer for various lenders nationwide. When my husband & I decided to refinance I decided not to go thru any of my broker friends but went with Quicken Loans. They have a great reputation with all the clients that I did their closings for, also their closing packages are awesome. We refinanced about 6 months ago & it was a wonderful experience. The cost was great, the process was easy & I have no regrets going thru them. If you would like the Loan Officer I used PM me otherwise just google them & call.

Call your MIBOR office and ask them for someone.............or just ask around........you can even Google it......I would talk to a few before you decide on which one you want to use..............

Good Luck.
