Good Family Practice Doctor in SW Suburbs??

I did a lot of research to look for a doctor for our family. I found Dr. Robert Oliver at Pronger-Smith Medical in Tinley Park. They are located on LaGrange just a bit north of I-80. I am extremely pleased with this place. They take the time to listen to you and like your input. He is not quick to always just give you a prescription. I could go on and on. We have never been treated so well before. He specializes in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics so he can see the whole family. He also has 2 Physician Assistants who are wonderful. I cant say enough about this place. I have seen other doctors at Pronger Smith also and I am very pleased. The do all the testing right there, like bloodwork, xrays, etc... And you can usually get it all done at your appt. Please check out their website and list of doctors. They also have an office in Blue Island and use 2 hospitals. Highly recommend. Hope this helps. We go to Donald Gerry in orland park. He and his staff are amazing. I have my entire family with him from my grandmother, parents, husband, myself, and my 5yr old! Everyone loves them. He is in the winterset ofice complex. Phone ###-###-####. Good luck!

I have one, but I am not sure where you mean my southwest. I am in Aurora and love my dr. He is great with my son who has Autism and my girls are going to start seeing him now too. I am also in a weight loss clinic there too with him. It is at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Let me know if you are interested or if that is to far.

Home First is great; they focus more on wellness and are into natural medicines. They are in Orland. Dr. Schattauer and Dr. Zumhagen are great! I'm not a fan of Dr. Rosi.

My family goes to Dr. Robin Snead in Olympia Fields across from the hospital. She has been covered under every health plan we have ever had... thats alot.

On another note,make sure you interview them.

Forefront Adult and Pediatrics - in New Lenox across from Lincolnway Central - there are two doctors in the practice - Paul Panzica and now a woman which I think is awesome! I love the staff there as well - from everyone to the receptionist to the nurses to the person who draws blood!

Dr. James Cunnar is in south Naperville. He is on 95th street and Naperville/Plainfield Rd. They will be moving offices at the end of the month. Same location, just a little west on 95th Street by Nequa Valley High School. We have been going to him for over 10 years now and love him.

I'll second the recommendation for Dr. Oliver at Pronger-Smith, and throw in an additional one for Dr. Obert-Hong, also at Pronger. My mom has been a nurse there for over 10 years. Until we moved away from the SW suburbs, we faithfully saw these two doctors, and sent my daughter to Dr. Lin, a pediatrician. The OB/GYN doctors there are all great as well. Leaving Pronger was my only regret for leaving the suburbs.
