Good Dentist

Ken Wineburg is an excellent dentist, it is just him and his assistant/office manager Kim. He actually does all the work, he cleans your teeth and does xrays.
He will see the whole family, and is so gentle with my kids, my kids actually get excited to go see Dr.Ken. He is in his mid 30's. They file insurance. I highly recommend him. http://www.wineburgdentistry.com/

I have the same issues A.. I have deathly terriffied of the dentist and had trouble for years trying to find a good dentist. My best friend suggested I go see her dentist and he is so wonderful. He is kind and honest and so gentle. He really is a great dentist and not only that, his staff are very friendly and kind. Just a great place all around. Hi A., I have a wonderful dentist. Her name is Nicole Sivie. She is a partnet at Williams & Sivie in Plano (Coit & Springcreek) I have always been terrified of the dentist, because of some very bad experiences in the past. She is honest and conservative as to procedures and virtually pain free. I had a crown made last year and I actually fell asleep during the procedure. The office staff is also very caring. HTH, Nana

Without a doubt, you should give Dr. Wilson Lo a shot. He specializes in patients with dental anxiety and is the gentlest dentist I've met - both in personality and procedure. I actually found him on Dr. Oogle while trying to find the best dentist in the area. Just read the reviews on him at the site posted below. I went to him to have a crown and then a second visit to have both of my front teeth replaced (crown and veneer) and he lived up to the reviews! I have to say, a nice added bonus is the TV/DVD on the ceiling while they work. They put headphones on you and you watch a show of your choice - really helps with anxiety.

Call Dr. Teresa Knott at Towne Center Dental. ###-###-####. She is our family dentist (including my 3 year old son and my mom who drives 2 hours to see her). She is great and a mom herself. Tell her TJ Wolfe sent you.

I like Alfa Dental (www.alfadental.com). It is technically in Dallas, close to Addison on Webb Chapel just south of Beltline and north of 635.

I have had been seen by every dentist there over the course of the past 7 years and they are all good.

I noticed that someone suggested a dentist that I would like to warn you about. Whatever you do, DON'T go to Master's Hand Dental in Allen. He lied about his credentials; he went forward with procedures when he didn't know what he was doing. Consequently, he caused my son harm and cost us thousands. Watch out!

I work in the dental field, (orthodontics actually). I use Dr. Michael Imboden here in McKinney. He is right off Eldorado Parkway just west of hwy 75. He has a fairly small practice, a great staff and is VERY gental. He has a wonderful bedside manner, and I highly recommend him. Good luck

Dr. Steve Williams at Allen Dental Center is WONDERFUL! The entire staff is so nice and caring. I highly recommend him!

I saw your posting and just had to give you this referral! The absolute, absolute best dentist I have ever been to in my life (and I have had a lot of work done in the past!) The Master's Hand Dentistry - on McDermott in Allen. And he caters to cowards like me! He is absolutely, hands down the best dentist I have ever been to! And I don't know if this matters to you but he is a Christian and even plays Christian music in the office. They are all wonderful-even the staff!

Dr. Tim Robinson. He is at Hillcrest & 635. The address is 12740 Hillcrest Plaza, Ste. 165, Dallas, TX 75230. We've been going to him for 12 years and he is a wonderful, kind and patient dentist. He uses great tools and is super gentle. All of his hygenist are super as well. His # is ###-###-####. I LOVE my dentist.
I hate going to dentists and avoided it for many years.
However, a friend recommended my current dentist to me and he is a kind and sweet older man, in a small office that feels like home. He has minimal staff who seem like they work together like a family. The whole wall in front of the dreaded "dentist chair" is glass where you look out on a nice garden with plants and birds, it's very calming and much different than any other dental office I have been too. I HIGHLY recommend him. It's in South Garland off Broadway and Centerville. Worth the drive.

I have been seeing Dr. Shawn Blagowski and Dr. Gary Noble for 15 years and LOVE them. They are in Richardson and their slogan is "We Cater to Cowards." My girls (9 and 11) see "Dr. B." and to this day, still don't know that they have had shots in their gums for fillings or teeth extracts - they are that good! Phone is ###-###-####.

Dr. Ross Miller. He's in Allen just south of the outlet mall. Very kind, patient and listens to your concerns.
To help, you might consider asking a couple of dentist if you can have a consult with them. That way you get to meet the dentist before your appmt and really see if you like him/her. Just check if they charge for the consult.

I have an excellent dentist. He is not located in Plano, but I think he would be worth the drive to Dallas. I never had anything done to my teeth except for cleanings and I had a fear of getting the work done. I had to have a root canal after my daughter and I had heard the nightmares people had after having root canals. I went to my current dentist, it didn't hurt, it only took about 30 mins and I was back at work eating & everything. No one even believed that I had a root canal done. Here's his information. His name is Dr. Louis Ross. ####-###-####. You will love your experience. I have always. He is as very funny and friendly person.

Dr. Bosher is great. His office is at Parker and Central, I believe.

I live in Wylie and go to Dr. Kumar near the Walmart on Highway 78. He does his own cleaning and is patient and gentle and he explains everything. I don't have anxiety issues, so I don't know how he rates on dealing with that. Good luck on your search.

Dr. Nelson Wong, He only works in Plano on Fridays. He's really out of Carrollton. We have been going to him for I think 27 years now. Super intelligent and very gentle. He is a wonderful man and dentist.
