Ok...I am once again in the market for a machine to make stuff! I need to make baby food (biggest priority), but also want to be able to make easy smoothies and occasionally use it for whatever comes up. I want something that is easy to store, easy to take out , use and to clean it up (dishwasher preferable). If it only lasts me a year, and costs $50, I am OK with that....if it lasts longer, fantastic!

Any thoughts or suggestions? Sams Club has the Ninja Prep for a decent price..but I am not generally a " feed into the hype of a product" person. I actually saw one...the Bella Cucina Rocket Blender at Target and thought that might work. About $25. Anyone heard of that?

Ugh! I just need to buy something at this point! LOL
Thanks for any thoughts!

So What Happened?

Thanks for the replies! I did go to Target and get the Bella Cucina Rocket Blender for $25. I have used it for some baby food and its fantastic. Small and compact, easy to clean and did the job. I am excited to find other consistent uses for it. And now if it does not last long or I have other issues of compatibility, I know a few other brands to try....you gals were very helpful!!! Thanks!!!

I love my magic bullet. It makes awesome smoothies and the cups that you drink out of after you mix make for less space in the dishwasher. Not sure what these other ones are as my bullet has lasted more than 5 years

I have a Vita-Mix, and it's spoiled me to anything else. It's pricey, but IMO worth the money.

I just got a Magic Bullet for Chrismas and I love it so far. I make myself frozen/blended coffee drinks in it all the time and it does a great job chopping up all of the ice. The first drink I made had quite a few ice chunks in it because I didn't blend it quite long enough but I have the hang of it now and my drinks turn out awesome. I would think it would do a great job at making baby food too.

I also have a Vita-Mix. I love it! Nothing handles like a Vita-Mix. It's what they use in all the coffee shops, the ice cream shops, etc. It is excellent and will last forever. I use mine at least twice a day. Love it!

I really love my Magic Bullet. You can use a 20% coupon on them at Bed Bath and Beyond. I make purees, smoothies, grind coffee, nuts. Works great and it's small. Love that.
