Golf Lessons for an Adult

My husband wants me to get him golf lessons for Christmas. Apparently you "always need to be improving your game." Where in the Carmel area can I go to get that for him? I would prefer a golf course, however not a place that you have to be a member of. He works way too much to justify paying initiation fees and monthly dues. Any help would be great. This is the only thing he has even really mentioned.

What can I do next?

Hello, my name is B., and my husband is a PGA Professional, and he is a golf instructor at The Brian Kirk Golf Schools, which is located at The Golf Club of Indiana, in Zionsville. His phone number is ###-###-####, his name is Tony. The Golf Club of Indiana, is semi-private, and allow daily fees for golf only, (you don't have to be a memeber to golf or take golf lessons!!) B. D. Zionsville, Indiana

There are several golf courses in the area you can go to.
Here is a link of golf courses in Indiana and you sort by city. http://www.thegolfcourses.net/golfcourses/IN/Indiana.htm

I do know Mohawk Hills and Prarie View are both public. Another is Sunrise which is on 96th and is a 9 hole course so it may not be listed. Also many private clubs will let you get lessons with out being a member. Just call and ask to speak to a golf pro. Don't be afraid to look in to Indianapolis or Zionsville because a lot of times they are not a bad drive from Carmel. Personally I love Riverside which is by Marion College in Indy. It is a beautiful course. Anyway, hope this helps....stay away from Crooked Stick (not Crooked Creek) because they will be very expensive.

Try Prairie View Golf COurse in Carmel: www.prairieviewgc.com. They have a training academy, and it is not a private course. I bought my husband lessons and a fitting session (which he loved) there for his birthday this year. Good luck!
