Girls Names Starting with "A"??
I know there's been a lot of these lately, but here goes:
We're looking for a name for our baby girl that starts with A, but that does NOT end with A. (Our last name starts with A.) Our son's name is Adam. What do you think? We're looking for something not too unusual but not in the top 20 most common, either.
Thanks!

repeat to what others have said.... Ariel, Avery, Ashby
Do you have a baby name book?
Also, I looked on the social security website (google search for popular names) and it will give you the rating for the previous year. Or you can download the top 1000 names for girls there. You will get some great ideas there too. I preferred my kids names not be popular (and they are not weird) and one was in the 800's and one was not in the top 1000.

My husband and I chose a little girls name, if we are ever so blessed to have one, and it would be Aleece. kInd of like Elise but with Uh sound instead of E. My husband said there was a supermodel that he was in love with as young kid and always loved the name. This name is definitely not on the top 10 list. But might also be too different than Adam...Side note I've always had a preference for the name Annalise..I love that name. so I second the vote for Annalise. Good luck and let us know what you finally decided
take care
