Girls Day Out Ideas

How about a museum exhibit you've wanted to get to or a botanical gardens, as you are looking around you are walking and talking you are able to enjoy just being together. Many have nice cafes and beautiful places to sit. Some have once a month free days so that could save you some money.

It's a lovely idea, girl's day out, it's what memories are made of, and memories are the duct tape of relationships. I am sitting here wishing I could have a girl's day out with my mom and sister...

If you were in NY I would have tons. Are there any small theatres in your
area. There are a few shows out their; i.e., Girls Night Out, Love Loss and
What I Wore. These are off Broadway but sometimes you can find them
in small theatres around the country. Menopause The Musical is a hoot and
I know that is touring right now. Start you day with that and it will put you in
a fabulous mood. Then dinner and drinks. Have fun. Or how about a
country western bar with a mechanical bull (you do not have to ride) but a
blast to watch. Hope that begins to give you ideas. A spa day is nice if you
want peace and quiet. For me personally, if I am out with girlfriends I want
to have lots of fun.

If you have a gym membership you could take an exercise class together or just take a dip in the pool and use the sauna.

Check out a school play, visit a coffee shop, do some window shopping, see a matinee movie, check out sites like restaurant.com, livingsocial,com, groupon.com and you may be able to find something inexpensive on those sites. go to one of those places where you can paint a piece of pottery, craft stores often have free or inexpensive classes to take and libraries sometimes do too.

Pedicure, picnic lunch, and matinee chick-flick. You could probably do all that for under $75 total. Follow up with a coffee at a relaxing coffee-house to wind down!

How about at home manicure/pedicure, a bottle of wine and a chick flick DVD? All of that can be inexpensive, but a lot of fun to do with a girlfriend. The most important part is spending time together and having some fun!

First, if there are any children, get husband/boyfriend/SO to watch them all so that no babysitters are involved (more $)

Meet for coffee and just hang out. If that means window shopping, catch a movie maybe a matinee, do lunch, manicures/pedicures, etc. One of my best girlfriends and I love thrift store shopping (the one part I hate about it is that I always spend more than she does, but we have a riot doing it), which reminds me we are due for a day.

Enjoy being together and what brought you together in the first place. I know this is much easier said than done.

Depends on what she likes. Bowling. Prepare lunch/tea for her. Or, treat her to dessert & cup of tea at a quaint restaurant in your area. Another favorite: make a small gift basket of her favorite things that cost less than $10. A box of variety tea/cookies/nail polish, lotion, etc. Themes work well.
