Does anyone have one and has your kid gotten anything edible out of it?

If yes, what's the secret?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Yes it is a rebranded Easy Bake Oven to suck in Girl Scout cookie lovers.

I ALWAYS felt that nobody should be cooking by light bulb, but indulgent grandma bought it for Christmas.

ha ha!
yes, my little guy had one when he was about 4. he loved to cook, and has grown into a good and competent home chef now that he's out on his own and in college.
my older wasn't interested then and still isn't.
and no, it never worked very well. we both got frustrated with it pretty early on. it was way easier just to have him bake real cookies with me.

Is that like an Easy Bake Oven? If so probably not worth it, we skipped that and went straight to baking in a real oven.

LOL! Grandma probably remembers the old commercials!

I had one when I was a kid. I also had the snowman that grinds up ice and you make snowcones. Great memories, but I'm sure they were a real pain in the butt for my mom!

I don't have an answer for you, but I immediately thought of my Easy Bake Oven and then I saw your answers. Thanks for the memory, but sorry about the indulging grandmother!

It's basically a rebranded Easy Bake Oven. My son got one for his birthday one year. It seemed like such a good idea at the time. We made the packets it came from and it never got used again. Instead we began teaching him how to cook in the kitchen with real food instead.

I tried to tell my daughter that we could buy all the ingredients and bake in the regular over but it was tops on her Christmas list. So she got it. Used it once. It was ok. I need to buy more mix for it so she can use it again.
