Hi, Moms.

I wanted to see if you can give me some good ideas for Christmas gifts under $20 that I can buy for two girls that I tutor. One is in 6th grade and the other is in 7th grade. Any ideas would be helpful:)

Thanks!

Most of the girls are into clothes from Aeropostle right now. They have hoodies, scarfs, jewelry etc. Most of it is on sale right now. I just got hoodies for $15 a piece.
Bath and Body stuff is also a favorite. Happy shopping!

Love the journal idea. Or, a nice packet of notecards with a pen and/or a small packet of stamps. I also think a beaded bracelet would be cute if you have time to get to a beading store where you can make bracelets. Lots of kids on my list this year are getting hand-beaded bracelets. They run about $7-$10 each.

I gave my nieces (same age) little lip gloss kits from Sephora. I can't remember the brand, but there were 4 cute, tween colors in a sparkly case. The girls went crazy for them. You might want to check with parents if your not sure lip gloss is ok. I've also done cute change purses, a $10 clip on reading light with a $10 gift card, both from Barnes and Noble, iTunes gift cards, appropriate jewelry. If they have pierced ears you can get something cute for under $20 easily. Holiday themed bath gel and lotion at Ulta. Girls are fun to shop for. Now if I could just figure out all my nephews...Merry Christmas!

I teach middle school and the girlies always love new journals and to shop for books. Maybe a Barnes and Noble gift card?

One of my girls is all girl and she loves bracelets and necklaces. The other is more tomboy and she loves Pokemon and animals, but would appreciate something along those lines in a necklace or trinket. You can get a nice sterling silver necklace from Kohls for less than $20. I got one for my niece for $15.49 online.

I second the Aeropostale idea. I think anything in that store would work and their prices are great.
