Gift Ideas for 16 Year Old Nephew

Hello All,

Hope there are Moms and Aunts who can help me find gift ideas for my 16 year old nephew. I really do not have any idea what to buy for him anymore. I have given clothes, gift cards so many times that I am bored with these.

So I am looking for gift ideas for:
Good magzines I can subscribe for him
Good games/toys, educational games
Anything else boys at this like and enjoy.

thanks for your help
-A.

What can I do next?

Is he into sports? A sports magazine would work there.
What game system does he have? What genre does he like
(sports, fantasy, beat em ups)?
What is his hobbies (fishing, working on car with Dad).
Depending on the answers will depend on the gifts.
Sorry for the late input.

As the mother of children 20, 18, and almost 16, the best gift is "Green" -- as in cash. If that idea is unappealling to you, a great gift card is the American Express gift card. You can order in on-line and have it sent directly to your nephew. You don't have to put a very high $$$ amount on it AND it is accepted wherever Amex is accepted. It's one of my kids favorite gifts (outside the green).

I have a 15 yr and he loves video games. One of the places that he loves the most is Game Stop where he can trade his old games. That would be a great place for a gift card and they even have a magazine membership that my son gets every month and it's like $12 for a year. He REALLY likes that cause it tells him about all the new games that are coming up. Best Buy is ALWAYS a hit too cause there is so much variety there where he can pick and choose what to get.
Since he is 16 and if he drives or about to a REALLY nice key chain would be a nice thought or a wallet.

Good luck, I will be trying to figure out my son's 16th Birthday gift 3 wks after Christmas!

You can alwyas give cash..or if he likes games give him a gift card to Game Works at Grapevine Mills Mall...that place is really fun. OR if he likes movies..get some Blockbuster gift cards and a bucket of popcorn and drinks and candy and make a basket for him. Gift card I know are kinda boring to give but not so bad to get b/c you can kinda pick what you want to get w/ them....kids always like gift cards to resturants as well.

A.,
What about tickets to the movies, DVD's gift cert for best buy
My son is 15 years old and loves his Cell phone,I-Pod,X-box games, Movie tickets, Paint ball gun, or does he have a car?
Maybe gas money.

Hope this helps,
A.

You really can't go wrong with gift cards and cash at that age. Is he driving or have his own car? A gift card for gas would be good.

I think Gift cards are the way to go. He'll be able to pick out something he really wants!!! I always give my brother in law and my brother American Express gift cards. They can use them anywere.. Visa has one too and I've gotten that before and they love it!
good luck

What about tickets for a movie theater and a restaurant that he likes to hang out nearby? It would work for either a date or a couple of nights out with friends.

I also agree with the other ladies, my nephews love the cash!!
