Gift Idea for 40Th Birthday

Hi C.,
I think anytime you can help a mom out is a wonderful gift. You could get her a gift card for manicure or pedicure or maybe gift card for a restaraunt so that she can have a night off. One of my favorites as a mom who will be 40 this year would be a gift card to Barnes and Nobel where she could take some much needed time out and get a good book and a coffee!

Makes it hard when you don't know the person, huh? Most women like body care products so anything like that would always be nice. I have some Body Shop Peppermint foot products (I just quit repping for them and have some extra stock on hand) that anytime I give people LOVE it. I could put together a package with foot soak, pumice gel, foot mask and lotion for about $40 if you'd like.

I also rep for Noah's Ark so if you want something cutsie, one of our animals dressed in a cute outfit would be fun and her kids would love it too.

Other than that I'd say any type of nice Coffee Table Book or a food basket would also be great.

Email me if you want to talk about the stuff that I have. I'm in Algonquin so depending on where you are, you could even pick it up on your way to Elgin to the party. I'll even wrap it for you! :-)

I turned 40 last December and got great & funny 40-themed gifts:
- 40 golf balls
- 40 beers
- lots of gift certificates worth $40 (for wine, massage, manicure, etc.)
- 40 stamps (long & funny story, but appropriate for me)
- also my family did this great thing where they bought me things that were also 40 yrs old: a certain Matchbox car, a movie, a CD, etc...
- and my kids each gave me 40 M&Ms. (!)

Once I got a friend 40 quick pick lottery tickets for the Big Game when the jackpot was something crazy like $300 Million. That would be $40.00?!

I just turned 40 myself on the 5th.. woo hoo..
I received a few gift cards, someone brought me a starbucks card, a Shell gas card, and a jcpenney gift card. They are great and you can buy whatever you want.. We all know there are plenty of them out there... I've never been to Shell in my life until I received the card...

a gift certificate for a mani/pedi or really nice candles......try Tuesday Morning- it has all kinds of gifts and stuff in there at 50-70 percent off retail proces

A gift certificate for a pediicure and manicure would be a nice gift. Many salons offer manicure and pedicure services in addition to haircuts.
