Gift for Daycare Provider - Olathe,KS
Does anyone have any practical gift ideas for my daughter's daycare provider? Her birthday is coming up and I would like to get her something from my daughter. For Christmas, we got her a $50 giftcard to Target. I did not want to do the same thing again, however, something of that nature allows her to choose what she wants to do instead of me dictating it for her.

I got a gift certificate from the Legends (Nebraska Furniture Mart area) for a friend of mine, and she absolutely loved it!!! She was able to go ANY WHERE in the mall.( use it at Dave and Busters, TJmax, Target,JC penneys, Movie theatre, aproximately 50 stores or restaraunts to choose from.)
I also want to thank you for appreciating your Day Care provider. YOU KNOW she takes care of your one precious thing in your life. I use to be a Home day Care provider and few parents didn't even consider giving me any type of gift at Christmas, Birthday, or even Mothers day. It took a mother like you to instil this respect and appreciation. I know it is hard to believe. I NOW work with over 200 Day Care providers and the lack of appreciation from the parents is everywhere. So THANK YOU!!!

How about a gift certificate to get a massage? Massage Envy has pretty reasonable prices on their massages.

How old is she?
Do you think she'd appreciate a gift certificate to a spa? Maybe get her a manicure/pedicure or let her choose what services she'd like. Par Exsalonce is great!
Do you know what her hobbies are? Maybe get her something related to that. If she likes crafts, maybe a gift card to Hobby Lobby or Michael's.
If she's still in high school you can't go wrong with a gift card for the mall. If she has an ipod, maybe a gift card for itunes.

I've also given gift certificates to a mall or group of stores/restaurants. My newest favorite gift is giving edible arrangements as gifts. Fresh fruit dipped in chocolate is something everyone loves and it also is a bit unique. Here's their website http://www.ediblearrangements.com/
