Getting Out Stains
I am beginning to sell my daughter's used clothes on eBay, and a couple otherwise nice outfits have minor stains on them. What is the best stain removal product you've found, and where can I get it?
TIA!

Without a doubt...oxyclean powder or spray. It also depends on the stain and the fabric you're treating.

I use Sol-U-Mel from Melaleuca. Works on everything from cat puke on the carpet to spit up or dirt stains on clothes.

Hi J.,
The absolute BEST thing for stains, especially grease and oil, is Grease Lightning. It's in a black and yellow spray bottle in the cleaning aisle at Target or WalMart.
If you have a stubborn stain on something pink (like a yellow formula stain on a collar or something...), then use a drop of bleach in your load of whites and light colors, and it'll come right out.
Good Luck!!

OXY CLEAN! You can get it at the grocery store. I get the powder and soak for 24 hours to get out tough stains...it works great!!

Oxy spray!!
Spray on & leave it soaking for about 2 days. My daughters grape jelly stains came out completely! Normally I just spray & leave on for an hour & they never come out. But 2 days & there were not stains at all!

Hands down Oxyclean!!!!!!!!! I love the it! The trick to it is... let it dissolve completely in very hot water then use it directly on the stains. Good luck!

I use Oxyclean for Baby. It is in a plastic container with a pink top. I mix it with hot water in the sink and it has worked great on all my son's clothes. I find that it works alot better than the regular Oxyclean. Sometimes, I can only find it at Target.
