Getting Out Moldy Smell in a Pack -N- Play
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get rid of a moldy smell in a pack -n- play. Someone gave me theirs and it has that smell and I was hoping someone had some advice.

Dear C.,
I would start wioth just opening it up outside and pulling all the parts out of the bag.
You can was the bag and hose it off as it is waterproof and easy to clean.
Leave the pieces outside overnight and then wash them with a buicket of warm water with somthing like 409 mixed with water.
If it still smells you could also then spray it with antimicrobial Febreze.
We had some camping gear that smelled moldy and this did the trick.

My pack 'n play had been stored in a garage for a few years and it had a very musty smell. I tried airing it out in the sun and cleaning with vinegar water but still couldn't get the odor completely out. I tried "Woolite Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner Pet Stain & Odor Remover + Oxygen" then I set it out in the sun to completely dry and was surprised that the musty smell is gone. It says on the bottle that when used as directed it leaves carpet safe for children. I put it in the sun to dissipate the smell of the cleaner because though pleasant it's strong.

WHite vinegar. If you can put it in the washer, put 1 cup vinegar in the laundry with your soap. If not, wash it down. (I don;t know what a pack n play is) From T.

try a mix of baking soda and water. Use about 1:4 baking soda:water ratio. Rub on with wet rag, let it dry in the sun, rub off with dry rag.
