Getting Fat Already??? :P

I am almost 6 weeks pregnant with my third baby and my belly is already sticking out a little!! It isn't b/c I have been eating a bunch either, I have not gained any weight yet and in fact I had the stomach flu last week and actually lost about 3 pounds. I know I showed earlier w/my second than I did w/my first but at 6 weeks along??? The baby is like the size of a pea - lol! Any mamas start "expanding" much earlier with #3,4 etc??

What can I do next?

I was very thin and under weight when I got pregnant with my second. When I was 6 weeks pg we celebrated my oldest daughters 2nd b-day and a friend came up to me and asked me if I was pg. We didn't tell anyone at the time. I told her yes and she said "oh about 15 weeks I can see". WHAT!

Enjoy the early belly.

I don't know what kind of physical condition you are in, if you work out . . . but I don't and I swear I started showing the moment I conceived my third baby. We drove up north to visit with my cousin when I was three months along, and she asked how far I was because I looked bigger than she thought I should. Think about it, everything is already stretched out and tired. Also, it may depend too on how far apart they are (I got pregnant both times when my baby was a little over a year old . . .)

That early on you are usually just bloated. It happens. Congrats!!

I have 3 children and with all 3 of my pregnancy's I started bloating immediatly after I found out I was with child. Even though your pants might be very tight and probably uncomfortabel you likely won't start "showing" for a few more weeks. Is it possible there are two babies in there?
That could make a difference as well

Hi! Absolutely right! Your uterus is experienced now and sets to work right away making room for baby, even though baby is the size of a pea. Congratulations!

I am 8 months pregnant with my third child (fourth pregnancy, since I miscarried the first). I showed much earlier with this pregnancy. Try not to worry to much. Just think, it will be more obvious that you are pregnant and not just bloated sooner! I liked to look pregnant. Remember, you need those maternal fat stores, even if the baby is only the size of a pea.

That happened with me, too. I didn't show at all with #1 until about 4 1/2 months. On #3, yikes! I popped right out and was in maternity clothes forever. With #4, same thing. Not fat, just baby bulge. Nothing to worry about. You will feel baby movement WAAAYYYYY earlier also. This is the least of your worries with #3... ha! That third one is a whole different ball game!

Dear J.,

Don't know, maybe your body knows more than we do. Maybe multiples? Maybe because it will be a larger baby or your body is planning for a drought.

Good luck and have a wonderful baby with lots of spirit and courage.

I say that because my gr grand daughter seems to be more fearless than the other babies I have known. I'm going to watch for brillance of the highest order from her, or kindness, or steadiness and or a happy life.
