General Practioner

Not sure what your situation is...but we LOVE Dr Simmons on Virginia parkway. The name of his practice is Personal MD. The only thing is he only works with patients witout insurance. I have to say though, his prices are very reasonable and even after getting insurance I chose to go to him because of his demeanor. He blocks off 30 min for your appointment and gives you his full attention for that time.

I have worked with all of the doctors here in McKinney and I too would recommend Dr. Rhonda Hopkins. She is over by the hospital. I would also recommend Dr. Dee McCrary and his Nurse Practioner Jill Morris. They are located at 4700 Eldorado Pkwy, Ste 210 and phone number is ###-###-####. I see Jill myself and love her! I have been going to George Childress for the past year. I really like him. He is a great Dr., and at the same time very laid back and super nice. He is located on Virginia and Central. His number is ###-###-####.

If I need to get in to see him, I always can get in the same day...usually within a few hours.

We moved here in August and my parents recommended Dr. Rhonda Hopkins; she's their doctor. Both of my kids have seen her, and they like her very much. She has a very mild bedside manner, has a nice sense of humor, really engages with her patients, etc. I also like that she's not afraid to use homeopathic remedies along with standard medicine (for example, my father's cholesterol is just a little high; she had him try flaxseed rather than putting him on medication right away, and it worked for him!)...
