Gas Problems I Think

My son is 3yrs old. Last Wednesday and got sick more or less had diarrhea. He had it for 2days. He is still complains his stomach hurts and it passing a lot of gas. I am assuming his stomach hurts bec of the gas but what can I do to help him relieve some of that gas. My other question is what would he have if he has been running a temp on and off since Wednesday? Should I take him to the Dr or what?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

For gas, have you tried Mylicon? That helps my kids.

Mylicon, help relieve his symptoms. If he is running a temp and having diarreha, the Flu. Btw, thats the silly flu symptoms my kids and many others near my have had this last month.

Wouldn't hurt to take him to the Dr to be sure, but it can be a number of issues. 3 seems a little young to have appendix issues unless there is some defect there so I wouldn't worry yourself too much about that. Could be flu, gas, infection among other things, but the most important thing you know is that you don't know unless you do go to the Dr. If it has been only 2 days you might try to gas medicine listed by a couple of momma's below.

I would totally take him in. It may be an appendix issue. I spent 6 months with on and off issues with my abdomine and they kept chalking it up to being my bowels, I wound up in a children's hospital in a very serious medical state because it was left (not because of my parents but a doctor's misdiagnosis). The fever is one of the signs. Just know that it could be nothing and you won't have to worry but it could be something and you'll be glad you talked to a doctor.

i would get him in to the dr.fever with bad stomach pains-doesnt sound good..they make soft chew rolaids with antigas in it-try that-but i would get him in.
