Fun Places to Take the Kids?

I have a 28 month daughter and a 6 month old daughter and am looking for fun places to take my oldest daughter to. I would like to get her together with some of her friends for a play date but I don't know what kind of places to take them too. I could use any suggestions you might have. We have done the Chuck E. Cheeses and Jungle java, but what other things are there to do in the Metro Detroit area?

We love www.myurbantoddler.com! It's in Saline, and has a wonderful (affordable - $5) play area that would keep your 28 month old engrossed for hours. It also has a small walled-in baby area so that your 6-month old is trampled. :) Unlike many of the other play places, this one is open on weekends and is not closed "for parties only".

I take my boys (33 months and 14 months) to Westland Mall and 12 Oaks Mall - both have (Free!) playscapes that are enclosed, and have space to run.

You could probably try pump it up (Dearborn), or bouncing off the walls (Trenton)..but your little one is too little, and you older one may be a little young for those...they both have the big inflatable climbing/bouncing things.
In Woodhaven you can go to funtastic...Van Horn & Allen Rd..your girls are the perfect ages...everything is soft, padded, big pillow things, big climbing thing (like chuck e cheese)...and it's very clean. I've taken my 2 yr old grandson a couple times and he loves it.

McDonald's Playlands are always fun. Most public libraries have storytime and playgroups. Bouncin' off the walls (inflatable playground) is really fun, too. :)

Hi A.,
The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum has a great/large toddler area, with lots of things to explore. The sensory/water table is always a hit with my 2-yr-old.
