Fun Place to Swim in Northern Oakland County

Does anyone know of a good indoor place to take children swimming for the day? I live in Northern Pontiac, and sometimes we go to the Lapeer Rec. Center because it has all of the fun sprinklers and slides for kids, but it would be nice to have some place closer.

What can I do next?

Lakeland High school (M59 and Bogie lake rod) and Milford High school both have very nice indoor recreation pools. There is a small fee to get it, but look on their website or call for open swim times. It is a very fun pool for little ones, has a whole 'wading' section for them, yet deeper areas for big kids. A couple of slides, all sorts of things. Very fun place for big and little kids!!

Lakeland High School has a kids pool. Just check their hours ahead of time.

Lakeland High School. They have a great indoor facility for kids!

You could try the Huron Valley High Schools. They have recreational pools with an area of zero entry & some water slides for the kids. Each high school has a different theme (decorations)
Go to the website and view the one pool, find out hours of open swim and fees. A day pass is $4.

Also in the summer, both Indian Springs Metro Park and Kensington Metro Park have water parks

Great Lakes Athletic Club on Baldwin south of Waldon in Orion or Lake Orion High School pool. I'm not sure about fees for use but those may be a bit closer to you. The high school also offers swim lessons and has frequent family fun nights.

have you tried the Y on Walton Blvd.? very nice!

YMCA is nice, but both Waterford Mott and Waterford Kettering High schools have very nice swimming pools. If you go on the schools website you can get the number to find out more info.
We are going there today in fact for a birthday party. Check them out.
