Fun Board Games for Grownups and Kids

What are some fun board games for grownups? My sister and I love to play games when our families are all together over the holidays...usually at night after the kids are in bed and with a few margaritas :-) We love Balderdash and Cranium, but are looking for some new ideas.

Also, what are some fun kids' games? Mine are 5 and 3 but their cousins are 9 or 10. So, I guess a game that my 5 yr old would have fun playing and maybe the older two also. My 3 yr old will join in for a little before he is off doing his own thing.

Cranium has several veraions, You could try the Family Edition with the 9 & 10 year old. The younger kids could be part of the team. Cariboo is for a young crowd, so you could consider that as well.

Clue is what we play together. I have a 4 & 7 year old. One of us usually teams up with the younger one.

We like Sorry only a 4 player game though. Phase 10, monopoly deal, taboo, gestures, wii games like just dance are really fun.

My 4 year old loves to play UNO. It's a great way to teach colors and numbers.

If you team up; kids and adults, Scattergories is great! Kids come up with some pretty wild stuff. For just the kids you might need to set it's timer twice to give them a better shot.

Our favorite game, hands down, is Settlers of Catan. Brilliant game. So fun, everyone I know loves it. Also, Ticket to Ride is a good game, goes pretty quickly, even some younger kids can play (our 8 year old has been playing for at least a year). Stoneage is good also, lots of fun.
