Fun Activities or Classes with 2-Yr-old Outside Working Hours (Aliso Viejo)

I work full-time and my 2-yr-old son stays home with our nanny and another slightly younger boy. He will start pre-school in the fall, but I think I need to get him into some other group activities prior to that. It's hard finding anything though in the evenings or weekends that fits my schedule. Does anyone have any fun suggestions in the Aliso Viejo area? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

Thank you all for the great responses! I will check out all your suggestions. Thanks again!! B.

I live in ALiso Viejo too and have an 18 month old daughter. One of her favorite activities is going to gym class. We go to My Gym in Laguna Niguel (it's only a 10 min drive from AV). It's a great way for her to get her energy out as well as learn coordination and play with other kids her age. I know they have classes for 2 year olds Wed nights from 5:30-6:30pm as well as on Saturdays at 10:10am. Check out the website at www.my-gym.com

I'm also a member of the ALiso Viejo Mom's Club and it's a great source of information for what's going on around town. While most of their club activities ARE during the week, they send a newsletter once a month giving all kinds of info on what's going on in town as well as a monthly mom's night out event, which we all need from time to time! I don't want to post someone's contact info publicly. If you're interested, let me know and I'll send you a private message.
Good luck!

I have the same problem (though my child is only 8 months). I take her to Gymboree in Rancho Santa Margarita because they have weekend classes and she has a blast. Their website doesn't work so well....but their location is here:

I highly recommend the Gym next to Tall Mouse on Aliso Creek called JW Tumbles. I like it better than My Gym because it's very clean and not as chaotic. The teachers there are awesome and have a great repor with the kids. I think they have classes on Weekends.

I think the Gymnastics center over on Journey has some tumbling classes for 2-year olds on the weekends. I'm in the same boat as you...everything seems to be geared towards stay at homes.
