Full Time Working Mom of a 6 Month Old Seeking Playmates in Ashburn!

Hi, M. - My daughter was born on 2/11, and we live in Ashburn. I only work part-time, but I have a four-year old, which makes baby playdates during weekdays stressful. I would be interested in a weekend playgroup. Evenings are not great since her witching hours start around 4pm!

I know how you feel - I worked full time right after my first daughter was born, and I felt we were very isolated from other moms and babies.

I am a 28 yr old married Mom of a 9 month old daughter. I have stayed home with her since she was born and would love to start getting to interact with other children. She loves being around other kids but most of my friends have older boys and they are too rough with her. I would love to try a couple of playdates. I also live in Ashburn on gloucester parkway.

I also am in Ashurn, Broadlands area, have a 6 month old little boy born 2/12 and A 3.5 year old little girl, and work full time. So, I would be interested in playdates on weekends also.

Hi M., I have a 7 month old daughter and live in Ashburn (Brambleton to be more specific). I am part of a playgroup on YahooGroup that is made up of moms around Loudoun County, Ashburn/Leesburg/Sterling area primarily, newmomsgroupgraduates. Feel free to look us up and join.

Most of us met attending a New Moms support group at Loudoun Hospital, and all of our children are around 6-10 months old. Not all of the moms work, but several of us do work part or full-time. I work 4 days a week. The group meets often for playgroups, though only occasionally on weekends. When we do meet on weekends, husbands are often invited and we have a potluck BBQ. We've also recently started a book club for the moms and a once a month mom's night out. You're welcome to join us for the next get-together. Like me, you probably won't be able to make it to many of the playgroups, but it'll give you a chance to meet some of us working moms in the area and find some playmates to get together with at other times.
