Frustrated About Fertility.

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant with our second, on and off, for nearly five years. The drs. say everything is fine with me and my hubby, but still nothing. I have tried ovulation kits, I tried laying with my hips up for 20 mins. after and we have tried not trying... which is actually harder than trying! We have tried herbal remedies too. Has anyone else had a similar problem that can give me any hope? I keep thinking okay it's just not meant to be, but I'm not ready to give up yet.

What can I do next?

Don't give up. Dr. Robert Altman at Sutter Gould Medical is the best when it comes to fertility. Someone you might want to talk to if you haven't already. Be patient - don't give up!

HI S.
I am going to give you a little sage advise..Go and see a Fertility specialist now. We were exactly the same as you. We had our son 9 months to the day after we started trying. He is now 8 and I am still not pregnant. We have been trying for 5 years and now for the last year we have been with a Fertility specialist. I am due for my 12th and 13th IUI today and tomorrow. Please do not leave it. I am 41 and I have massive guilt and regret for saying everything is OK and it will just happen.

All in God's time... have you tried prayer?

My husband and I went through the same thing. It took 5 years for our 1st! I went to Northern California Fertility; however, at the time I got PG I was getting a second opinion at UC Davis and we were both much more comfortable there only after one meeting. I think what did it for us, is that my cousin and her son moved in with us for 6 months after the death of her father. It was such a distraction that I stopped charting, taking my temperature, taking medication and everything. I know it is easier said than done, but not doing anything helped us. My doctors did find that I do not metabolize folic acid, so I am on VERY high doses of that with a pill called Folgard. Also, I have a blood clotting gene (haven't had one, but there is a gene) that I had to take baby aspirin for.

Good Luck to you and don't give up hope!

I work with a company that sells all-natural, botanical products and they have an all-natural balancing cream that is supposed to work wonders for everything, even fertility issues. If you are interested, I'd be happy to get you some at a discounted price. You can email me at ____@____.com of luck,

K.

Well one time I douched with warm water and got pregnant! What a happy surprise that was for me! I wanted more kids, but my husband didn't.

I have also heard of some vitamins that helped a woman get pregnant in my home based business. If you are interested I am sure I could get more information on exactly what she took. I know she just had her baby about a month ago.

Blessings, B.

has your doctor ran any tests? Or both of you?
When you say you tried Ovulation kits, did you not detect a surge or you did but still did not become pregnant.
Have you tried the BBT method (daily temperatures?)
Check out www.fertilityfriend.com for some great advice.
