Fresh Seafood Market
Hi everyone. I am looking for a fresh seafood market where I can buy fish fillets. I live in Pottstown. Does any one know where there is one?

On High St and Evans there is the Pottstown Farmers Market which usually has some fish merchants. There is also a seafood shop in Boyertown on Rt. 562 which I have purchased from before and always had excellent luck. They were just recently bought by a new owner (Now Staton Seafood) though and I haven't yet tried them out. Good luck!

We've purchased fish before from the Pottstown Farmers Market and it's always been good. Also, if you head towards Reading and take 422 Business (past the new Target and Sonic in Exeter Township), Adelphia Seafood has a small store about a mile or so past the new shopping center.

The only one I know of is Gadalettos on Rte 30 in Frazer (Giant shopping center). I realize this isn't right around the corner for you.

The new Wegmans in collegeville has a nice fish selection. Granted - this isn't right off Rt 100 in Pottstown...but it is only about a 20 mins ride.

The new Giant in Pottstown seems to have high quality fresh fish. I bought flounder there a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious. Just be sure to buy it from the seafood counter and not the fish case. I didn't seem quite as fresh.
