Foster Couple in Need of Baby "Stuff"

A christian couple that we have been close friends with for some time now have been trying to have a baby for 10 years and now are going to be a "foster-to-adopt" family and will be getting a baby in 5 weeks! In order for this to happen, they need to be "baby ready". I am throwing them an adoption shower but we don't know a ton of people.
If anyone has anything they are looking to get rid of (for a baby 0-1 year), this would be such a blessing to my friends and the child or children they will be foster parents to (and hopefully be able to adopt)!
I am in Little Elm/Frisco but am willing to drive to pick up anything that could fit in my minivan!
Thanks so much for your kindness!

Hi A. - what a nice friend to go through such lengths. I would like for you to send me your email address, so that I get back with you later. The website will only allow one response. I know I will be able to round up a few things, not sure what - if nothing else, some clothes. I am just really busy right now, and don't know what to tell you exactly what I can commit to, but I would like to help. Thanks, N.

Although I have already given everything away before we moved to texas in the last few months. I know what it is to start from scratch. I've been using a website called craigslist.com (be sure to put the "s" in there otherwise you'll get an x rated site). This site is like one huge garage sale. You can get new and almost new items at great prices. Try it out. Sorry I don't have anything to give, but I hope this will help.

Can you tell me if they will have a boy or a girl?? I do have some things and have some friends that may have some stuff as well!! Please let me know!
I do have a changing table, pad & cover, a stroller and infant baby seat made by Peg Perego, and a walker!

I have an exersauser, swing and bouncy chair...all very gently used my 14 month old stop using all that stuff a very long time ago and it's really just taking up some space. You're more than welcome to these items.

A.,

My sister had a foster-adoptive home for years. She now has two beautiful adopted children 92 and 4 years). She also lives in Little Elm and I am sure she would love to donate any baby items she still has as well as talk to the parents if they need any support.

If you would like to contact her or me, just let me know.

I have a bassinet (blue and green pattern) and a safety first diaper pail (with 2 refills) that I'd love to give them if y'all haven't gotten those already. How wonderful for these people. I believe it is such an extra special love between an adopted child and their adopted parents.

We are cleaning out stuff that our baby has outgrown, we have toys, a swing, and lots of clothes for 0-12 mos. I also have a baby tub, a moses basket and some miscellaneous items. I would be happy to donate to the cause. I am fairly busy this week, but will be available on Friday all day. If Friday won't work, then let me know what your schedule is and I will try to work something out with you for pick up.
