My daughter was one of 6 flower girls and the bride had them all wear a little crown of flowers, with their hair half up/half down. They looked fabulous.

Hey D.,

There are tons of hair blogs out there. Every little girl hairstyle you can imagine and they show you how to do them. Go to www.shedoeshair.blogspot.com and check it out. There are links to the other blogs there too. Good Luck. N.

Aloha,
If she has long hair... the fariy princess style is cute... you know, when the hair is braided or french braided in a circle on top of the crown of their head like a 'halo'... and then flowers or sparkly pins or ribbons intertwined into the braids, can be REAL cute.

Or, a french braid, down along both sides of her head/temples, and intertwining ribbons into the braid, and then letting the ends of the ribbons flow freely down, OR, then making the ends of the braids into a bun at her nape using bobby-pins to secure the bun... and small flowers (fake or real) can be inserted into the braids, with the colors to match the wedding theme or her dress.

OR, braid her hair, let it set, the undo it, to get crimped and beautifully full flowing hair... then randomly attach tiny little flowers to her hair...perhaps using some kind of eyelash glue or something... which can be removed. Kind of like achieving a "60's Flower Child" look.

With any of the above styles, then spray it with hair spray to keep down stray hairs, or to keep the "crimped full" hair in place.

Good luck,
Susan

my daughter who is 4 is going to be a flower girl in August, and all we are doing is making her hair curly with the foam curlers that they sleep in and putting a flower clip in it. That is how my future sister in law is doing her hair, so we are just going to copy her. Maybe you can ask the bride how she is doing her hair and just try and copy it?

go to www.littlegirlhairstyles.com , there is an e-book you can download called curls for girls with a very simple method of giving your little girl curly locks and about 10 different hairstyles with how-to's. I just tried it with my 4 year old -- takes a little practice, so you'll want to get it ahead of time so you can play a little before the big day.

Hi D. usually Spiral curls are always cute for a lil girl with some baby's breath in her hair....I usually do that for my clients....

Best Regards,

Hi D.,
I photograph a lot of weddings and see a lot of the top bang area parted and twisted then tied of with small bands. Then make the back full and curly. Braiding the night before is the easiest on both mom and little one.

I am sure she will be beautiful any way you decide to do it.
