The Ocean Pointe Resort is awesome. They are condos that they rent out, have kitchenette with dishwasher. What we did is shop at Publix Grocery store to minimize costs. They have a dishwasher also; you do not have to spend time washing dishes! Cute beach and boat cove. You will love it!

Best of luck! S.

Hi K. Try looking up the Keys on the internet. My husband and I visit Key West every October to go to their Fantasy Festival that they have every year. It's alot of fun!!! There're plenty of Keys to choose from. Key West is the only one we have visit. It's like a home away from home. It's an lsland to itself. It's only 90 minutes from Cuba.

You may want to consider renting a condo or house instead of staying in a resort. Just check on line and you will find places listed. When you rent a home you get cooking and washing facilities and you do not need to take as much cash because you eat at home part of the time.

We were at the Tranquility Bay resort in Marathon, Florida in June. They have these beach houses that include a kitchen. It was a great resort,we really enjoyed it. Go to www.singhresorts.com.

check out Family Fun magazine....look for it on-line or back issues at the local library. they have LOTS of good ideas as to where to vacation with kids and suggestions of what to do.
