Fishy Smell

We bought our sons a play kitchen for Christmas. It's been great until my 3 yr old decided to cook real eggs in it. I cleaned everything up. It was all over the place! (the little kitchen, carpet, and walls)However, now there's a fishy smell in the playroom. Is this from the eggs or possibly something else? If it's from the eggs do y'all have any suggestions on how to get the smell out?

Thanks!

What can I do next?

Wipe everything down with vinegar!

9% White Vinegar. You can find it with the canning supplies in the grovery store. The vinegar smell is gone in about 24 hours along with anything else unpleasant.

Hello M.,
Pure baking soda is good for eliminating odors and so is lemon juice. You can try cleaning the kitchen again with either one, also check to see if there might be some small pin holes in the kitchen set where it might have leaked inside.

There is a product used for pet's at Pet Smart and Pet Co it is great for carpet smells etc. mainly used for pet odor. However I use it when I clean the carpet, it works great for the smell of the house and pet etc.

Try Fresh Wave (all natural odor neutralizing spray). I love it!! Comes in a spray or jar of granuals. I just bought a replacement at the Container Store. Check out www.fresh-wave.com
