First Time Mom to Be Seeking Pediatrician Referrals

I absolutely love my pediatrician(s). They are in Oradell. Dr. Carl Battista, Dr. Patricia Czernizer, and Dr. Scott Fisch. They are wonderful. I am also a first time mom and they are still so patient with me, even after a year. Sometimes I fell as though I am calling with such silly questions and they never make me feel that way. I also love the fact that they do not have an answering service. When the office is closed, whichever doctor is on call, you get their cell #. That alone makes me never want to go to another doctor....Good Luck.

I use Pediatric Specialties in Hackensack. It's 1 block from Hackensack Hospital. They have 5 doctors there to choose from. My 1st choice is Dr Steven Materetsky, my 2nd choice is Dr Jonathan Wong and 3rd choice would be Dr Daniel Levine.
I have a 6 1/2 year old and a 3 year old both girls and they love it there. Whenever they are sick you can always get an appointment the same day to see a doctor, when you call the nurse and leave a message for advice they call back within 15 or 20 minutes. They also have a location on Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey. Almost all of my friends use them too and are happy. I even got a few of the Mom's at my Daughter's school to switch and they seem very happy too.

My name is Missy and I am a mother of 3 with 2 on the way (as well as a pediatrician). If you are looking for a pediatrician in/around Teaneck, I would highly recommend Dr. Terri Smith. She is one of the best. i had the oppurtunity to work with her when I was a 3rd year resident and she proved that you can be a doctor and genuinely care about your patients. She is so patient and has the biggest heart and she is always available to her patients. I would have switched my kids to her had I not lived in NYC. I used Tenefly Pediatrics for 4 years now, and they came highly recommended to me, and my daughter and I absolutely love them. They have offices in Tenefly, Oakland, Clifton, and Paramus, and have am Saturday office hours. We use Dr. Slater, and he is amazing, but we have seen pretty much all the Doctors in the practice and love them all. Love my ped, Dr. Rosen. He just left his practice, and opened the Whole Child in Oradell on Kinderkamack rd. He is a holistc dr, and always gave me homeopathic advice along side of madcine. I highly recomend him, Good luck.

I use Metropolitan Pediatrics in Teaneck/Closter. My son is 4 1/2 and we have been with Dr. Lucia Caruana since his birth at Englewood. I use the Closter office, because it is close to Tappan, and smaller. All the doctors there are great, as well as the staff. They were recomended by my OB/GYN in Englewood, she uses then.

I have a great pediatrician who has is local. My son is now 15 and he is still great with him. The practice is Summit Pediatrics in Hackensack and the number is ###-###-####. They are associated with Hackensack University Medical Center. I called the service many times in the early days since my child was not well. They were always quick to respond. We see Dr. Bruno, but there are others in the practice as well.

I use Metropolitan Pediatrics in Teaneck on Palisade Ave. and I really like them. I'm a first time mom too, and they always give me the time I need to ask questions, etc. I never feel rushed. Also, when I have had to call with questions they have always get back to me quickly and have been very helpful and reassuring. Good Luck!

I am very happy with Teaneck pediatrics, Drs Steven Schuss and Alyssa in particular. They are both wonderful and great with my two boys.

I use Pediatric Specialties in Hackensack (right behind Hackensack Hospital). I prefer Dr. Susan Kushner but they all have been nice.
