First Haircut Recommendations in Lakeview Area.

I think you may be talking about KidSnips. It's in a shopping center on Clybourn near Armitage. I took my kiddo there when she was a little over a year old and they made a big "to-do" out of it: certificate w/lock of hair, photo, the works. It was very sweet. A tad pricey, but for a first haircut it's worth it.

Oh, and try to get an appointment with Miss Sandra if you can. She rocks!

We took our son to Snippets and they took video of his first haircut and we got his hair in a box.

Check out snippets or there is a great place on Irving Park road and Hoyne ( just east of Damen & Lincoln avenue)the owner/stylist there is great with kids & your child can drive a car or ride a horse while they get their haircut.

There are two places on Clyborn near you. One is Snippets and the other is Kid Snips. We took our daughter to Kid Snips and they saved a lock of hair in a small baggie and attached it to a "First Haircut" certificate with photo. Very cute.

I believe it is called Snypits. It is very cute, the kids sit in elevated cars and things.

I take my daughter to KID SNIPES on Clyborne. Ask for Sandy she does a great job. ###-###-####

The place you're referring to is called Snippets. It was voted “Best Kid's Hair-Cuts” by Chicago Magazine. I've yet to try it as my daughter is still pretty bald :) The address is 2154 N Clybourn Ave (across from Town & Country)and the number is ###-###-####. Let me know how it goes.

GL!

Snippets and Kid snips are both fine, and about the same price, but Snippets will give you a DVD of the their first cut and Kid Snips doesn't. Besides that, they are pretty much the same. Have fun, the first cut is really exciting. I took tons of pictures.....
