First Communion Gifts

Any one have a good idea for a first communion gift for a girl? I don't the child very well and I don't really want to just give money.

Thank you for the ideas. I think I will go and try to find some cross earings and if not I will go with the bond. Thanks again!

Hi T.,

How about a savings bond? It's not quite money. She will get lots of religious gifts, necklace, crosses, statues, picture frames, etc. Does she have pierced ears? Maybe little cross earrings?

The most memorable gifts my children received for their first communions were apple trees! My brother gave them each an apple tree. They loved them, and now we are finally getting apples from them!
