First Birthday Party - Saint Charles, MO
I am doing a first birthday cupcake theme (I already have the invites and decorations etc) for the daughters first birthday and am looking for a place in the St Charles area where I can get some really cute decorated cupcakes (that also taste good)for the party. I would even like to get the cupcakes decorated to match my invites/decorations.
Also if anyone has any cute ideas for activities for the babies and preschoolers that will be in attendance or ideas for favors in line with my theme! Thanks!

Hi T.-
A friend of mine got cupcakes from Susie G's on Hwy K in O'Fallon for his daughter's birthday party. He brought in the leftovers, and they were wonderful and very cute. Good luck!

I agree with the Susie G recommendation. They did my wedding cake and it was excellent. A friend of mine got cupcakes from them for her daughter's bridal shower and they were wonderful as well.

okay not sure about the bakery section but i can tackle activity ideas.
-crafty stuff--little kids love to make crafts and it doesn't have to be super messy or complicated at all...how about name tags they can color shaped like cupcakes--maybe use card stock and hole punch to string around their necks...crowns with cupcakes on the front would work too--just find a cupcake shape let them color/cut it out (u or them or even pre-cut works better) then staple it to the front of a strip of card stock or poster board.
--decorating cupcakes...u can put all the goodies in the little compartments of a cupcake pan
--for your favors you can put cute little goodies/candies/fruit snacks whatever in cupcake liners then wrap in some cellophane and tie it up with a little curly ribbon
--pin the cherry on a cupcake game--make a cupcake shape on a poster board and use some tape on the back of a cherry shape
i could come up with these all day...have taught pre-k for more than 10 yrs...so if these don't suit u let me know...i can feed u more...good luck
