Fireworks Displays

We are looking for a fireworks display that is going on a day other than the 4th. We have a big family wedding to attend on the 4th, and my children are very dissapointed that we aren't going to be seeing fireworks. I'm hoping someone can tell me about a display going on a different day. We live in West County, so something fairly close would be great. Thanks for any info you can share.

What can I do next?

Thanks for the information! Assuming there's no rain, we plan on going to Webster Groves tonight. My kids are so excited:))

We always go to Main Street St. Charles to watch the fireworks. They are awesome and they are doing them on both Friday and Saturday night. Not to mention they always have a fair with rides and games going on before the fireworks.

Fair St. Louis (I still call it the V.P. fair) is also on the 5th. The riverfront is closed but I'm sure once you get to the archgrounds, you will be directed where to go to watch the fireworks. Check the Post Dispatch today, it'll probably tell you.

Webster Groves had their "Webster Days" event that starts today on the 3rd. They do fireworks tonight and on Friday. Check the paper or internet for details.

Webster Groves has a very good fireworks display. I live in Webster, so I heard them going off last night (Wednesday). I know they have them tonight and the 4th as well. I want to say they start at 9:00 p.m., but you can always call the City of Webster Groves Recreation Center to double check the time. I hope this helps.

There is a Celebration at First Baptist Church in Arnold on Sunday evening starting at 7:00. Fireworks start at 9:15 and there will be hot air balloon rides. It's a little far from you but going to be well worth it.

I agree with the other post. We go to Webster Groves's carnival every year. They have AWESOME fireworks display. When you get off 44 at Elm, turn right at the first stoplight and there is a church just on the left that has parking. Great place to park - not a far walk at all. Sit on the curb by the baseball field or bring a blanket and the fireworks are right over your head. They display them tonight through Friday at 9:30. Have fun!

For years we went to Webster Groves. I think that's the town. If you take 44 to Elm it's right there at a grade school when you get off the highway. You can't miss it. It's a carnival too so they do it for about three days each year. And their fireworks show is Awesome!

My advice is to get their early and park on the right side of the school. They go off right over the park.

Try to call the webster groves chamber of commerce or city hall. They will tell you if it's them or who has it.
