Find an OB- GYN in Wake Forest/ Raleigh area...just Moved from FL

I am trying to find an OB-GYN or a hospital. My husband and I are going to start trying to conceive. Any suggestions would be great. I would like to have an OB- GYN that has medical services in-house (like their own Ultrasound and lab services). I look forward to any advice

What can I do next?

I went to Wilkerson. They are great and have everything that you are looking for. They are right next to Rex hospital. They are attached to the birthing center. They delivered both my children and i would recommend that you see them. They are extremely friendly.

Hello A. M,

I just wanted to say that you probably would enjoy Duke Hospital or Wake Med. Either one of these would be a place to have a baby at. I worked at Durham Regional Hospital which is one of Duke Hospitals. I also had my daughter who is know eight years old there. My OB-GYN was Harris&Smith. A wonderful staff of people work there with the doctors. I hope you will review your decision very careful. But do make the proper choice for you and your husband. Also my husband and I had taken the baby class offered at the hospital also. It was alot of fun had a great teacher.
I also have heard some great things about WAKE MED too.

GOOD LUCK

I go to Atrium across the street from REX Hospital. There are 4 doctors (3 men and a woman). I have had 2 children with this practice and have been very happy with all the doctors. I had complications with both pregnancies, but felt very cared for at Atrium. They have ultrasounds and Lab Corp in their office.
This is a large practice and a busy office. If you are looking for something small, this is not it. :-)
Good luck to you and welcome to the area!

Kamm, McKenzie is a great practice. They have several doctors and they have privledges at Wake Med (closer to you than Rex). They have ultrasound in house and they use LabCorp for any testing (I think most Dr. offices in the area do). Kamm, McKenzie has 2 locations. One is off Falls of Neuse at I540 interchange and they have another location off I440 and Six Forks road inside the beltline (tht means on the Raleigh side of the beltline vs. the Wake Forest side). I wish you a lot of luck with the new move and welcome to the area. It is a great family area.

I absolutely love Dr. Alan Holton. His offices are right near Rex Hospital.

I love my OBGYN...they delivered both of my children and my sister now uses them as well. They are pretty popular and have 2 offices, one on Computer Drive and one off of Durant Rd. The name of the practice is Kamm, McKenzie, Smith and Bass (there are more doctors). Even though it's a team, I never felt rushed or pushed through. My kids are 7 and 10 and I still go to them for my yearly check ups. They also specialize in high risk pregos, just in case. They are affiliated with Wake Med, which I also had wonderful experiences with when I delivered my children. My sister and I both delivered naturally and they were a great source of support (not that that's all they do just FYI). Here's their website http://www.wakeobgyn.com/. Best wishes on starting this awesome journey!

I go to Associates in Women's Healthcare and think their great, they have ultrasounds and lab services in house and it's a group of women, which I prefer, all of whom I meet and liked during my pregnancy they are in Raleigh off of Wake Forest Road
