Final Update on My 5 Year Old in a Commercial...

A few of you asked for updates on the commercial that my son was in, so I thought I would post the link to the Youtube page. I think it turned out great, but I am totally biased!! I just can't wait until the day he brings home a date and I can say "Have you seen the adorable video from when he was 5? No? Well, sit right down!"

I have decided that the best way to avoid being an obnoxious "stage mom" about this is to send along the link to pretty much everyone I know with the promise that I won't say anything further unless asked :) So if anyone thinks this is obnoxious, feel free not to click the link and I promise I won't post any more about it! What do think- is that a decent level of proud parent without being too awfully braggy? How do you share your pride in your kids, and do you care if people think you are bragging?

Longish brown hair, the one hitting the T-ball :)

Thanks so much everyone!!!!

Cute. Is he the longish brown haired boy or the very short haired blonde or one of the others?

Good plan. However, I think you have every right to brag as much as you want. I don't mind when Mom's do that. I'm glad you posted these.

I think others might be interested in your experience at the filming. Here is the address to your post on that. http://www.mamapedia.com/questions/3831926743053369345

Longish brown haired boy. He's so cute. Great facial expressions, too.

That was great!! I don't think you are bragging, you are just proud!! And who gives two hoots if people think you are??! When I am proud of my kids, I will tell people that I want to know, once. If they ask more questions, then the conversation is on. And I think it is nice that you sent everyone the link too, because I'm sure all your friends will be curious!! Congratulations!!

Awww, he did a great job!!

Go ahead and share this!! Loud and proud! Who cares if others feel like it is bragging. We are all entitled to celebrate our kids' triumphs within reason.

My friends' kids do some print ads for toy companies and Target, and I LOVE it when she posts their stuff on FB. I love my friend, and I love seeing her kids doing good things.

Yes, you have every right to be proud and brag! I don't think you are going overboard...now if you did it every day - yeah - but this? HECK NO!!!
