My boyfriend of almost a year has Fibromyalgia and He has found that taking Mucenix 1,200 mg in the morning and 600mg in the evening has helped quite a bit with it, His first doctor when we lived In Wichita,Ks didnt beleive he had it becuase he was a male but he did, He says that is helping him a lot and takes a Tramdol at night to sleep better. Find someone that knows of it and maybe they can help you better. Best of luck

P.,
I don't have Fibromyalgia, but I used to go to a chiropractor that did a lot of research on it. He found out that most people that have it suffered severe trauma in their neck, (whiplash). There are ways of defeating it with adjustments and nutrients. I hope you get rid of it. I hear it is no fun.

I don't have fibromialgia, but the company I represent was founded by a man whose wife had it terribly (among other things). He did a lot of research and formulated a blend of 9 sea vegetables and aloe and his wife made a full recovery after a few months of taking the blend. It's called Body Balance and has helped a lot of people w/many different health issues (and overall vitality). You can learn more about the products and the story of the founders, etc. here:

Let me know if you have any questions...
Hope this helps!

I am a mother of a 9yr old and an 18 yr old. I was diagnosed w/FMS in 2002.I was on several different pain pills and finally was not able to work as of oct 2007. In Nov 2007 I read a book called"what your dr won't tell you about Fibromyalgia"written by Dr.Paul Saint Amand and Claudia Marek. This book and the protocol it suggests you follow HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. I started the protocol and followed it to a T in Nov 2007. In two weeks I am returning to work and am only on 1 pain med. This is truely a miracle after pretty much being in bed for most days before the program I am on now.PLEASE get the book(got mine at hastings)There is also a support group on the internet called www.fibrohugs.com and is full of wonderful support from others with FMS who are following this simple program in this book. It has worked for several thousand people and does not require any type of prescription drugs.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOOSE BY TRYING IT? Nothing but the pain!!!!!! Best of luck

I am 40 with Fibromyalgia in SE Aurora, CO. My son is grown, now 20. I do daycare for a living and adore the sweet babies but as you know there are days that are difficult. I was just introduced to this site by a new mommy. Are you in this area? I have thought about starting a support group for Fibromyalgia.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 4 weeks ago. It was horrible until they put me on medication and now it's not too bad. The pain & exhaustion are pretty much gone (I get a little here and there but it's really light).

Hi P.
I don't have Fibromyalgia but I know a lot of people who no longer have symptoms, due to taking a organic whole food. Fibromyalgia is a Inflammatory Disorder caused by an impaired Immunity. If you can build up your immune system, your body can do amazing things. If you would like more information let me know. You can get a life back. Our bodies do have the ability to heal themselves.

I was diagnosed with fibro 7 years ago when I was 22. I agree that it is a very misunderstood condition. I would be happy to talk to you privately about my experience with it. Feel free to email me.

My daughter's mother-in-law has it. She has suffered for years. If you want - I could ask her if she would be willing to talk. SHe has tried lots of different things and treatments. THe issue at hand is that everybody responds differently to different treatments. Debbie

My Dr. thinks I might have it. My mother suffers from it and it runs in the family. Sometimes my body aches so bad and I have done nothing that it should be that way. I know that depression is also a symtom.
Exercise is suppose to be a way of counteracting symtoms but when you don't feel good it is hard to be motivated.
Why do you ask?
