What is your favorite (reasonable priced) restaurant along Hwy 75 between downtown Dallas & LBJ?
Thank you for any help! Just looking for some new restaurants.
So What Happened?™
Thank you for all your suggestions!! I don't live in that area & wanted to know what was around there to try something new!

I work in the Uptown area - there is a burger place on McKinney called Jakes http://www.jakesburgers.net/ that is amazing - I'm not a fan of burgers - I had a chicken sandwich - but I took a bite of my sister's burger - WOW. They have great pricing!!
Also on McKinney - my coworkers keep bragging about Coal Vines Pizza - it's supposed to be great (personally I like Pastazios http://www.pastazios.com/ off of Lemmon).
There is a cute Italian place off of Oak Lawn called Bellini's - they have great rolls and it's a cute, small restaurant.
Cafe Express http://www.cafe-express.com/ is off of McKinney as well - wide variety of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and a huge condiment bar (sun dried tomatoes, pickles, olives - you name it).
Good Eats http://www.goodeatsgrill.com is off of Oak Lawn - I think they are owned by the same company as Macaroni Grill, I could be mistaken). FANTASTIC rolls, and good old fashoined chicken fried steak, pot roast, all of the comfort food.

When its just hubby and I,we like Mannie's Mexican(75 and Hall) ,Taco Diner, and Cuba Libre off 75 and Henderson...for fine dining we go to Mi Cocina or Hibiscus alot.
Sunday brunch we do at Mattitos(cedar springs)or Cindi's NYC deli(75 and Forest).
For a quick lunch I love Pd Johnsons on McKinney or Potbelly off 75 and Knox.
Mmmm, there is a great little Greek restaurant on McKinney ave(uptown) right across from PD Johnsons. It has outdoor seating and delcious gyros and salads!!! I think its called Organicity??

SPAGHETTI WAREHOUSE!!! I am a huge fan of that place! Since I was a kid, it was a huge treat, but well worth it!
My husband proposed at the one downtown!
This one may be on the north side of 635 but you can look it up online. Its a little steep but again, well worth it in my book. Unless in rushour traffic, its not a bad commute right up the road to 635.
Good luck!

Cheesecake Factory off of Northwest Hwy and 75! The selection of food is unbelievable and the prices are not too high. Their desserts will knock you over and it's very nice inside.

We love Cowboy Chicken, just off 75 and Lovers, on Greenville. Wood fire rotisserie chicken, awesome sides (twice baked potatoes are the greatest), and during the week there's a $4.99 lunch special with 1/4 dark, two sides, drink, and roll. It's one of the places we take all out-of-towners for great local food.

Fireside Pies on Henderson. They open at 5pm for dinner and I suggest you get there early. They do not take reservations and fill up quickly. Go on a nice night and sit on their patio...fabulous!
